Divisional Weekend NFL Score Predictions

Each week, I’ll unveil my forecasts for all the NFL games. Let’s delve into how I envision the divisional round of the playoffs unfolding.

WILD CARD RESULTS: 3-3.

SEASON RECORD: 172-103.

Texans vs. Ravens

Despite the impressive performance of rookie QB C.J. Stroud and offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik, the Texans’ remarkable season concludes on the road in Baltimore. Struggling to run the ball and facing an elite defensive front, the Texans are unlikely to prevail, relying solely on Stroud’s arm.

Prediction: Ravens 21, Texans 17.

Packers vs. 49ers

While I’m tempted to favor Green Bay, I won’t succumb to recent biases. Admitting my misjudgment of Jordan Love, it seems that it’s not his or the team’s moment to shine. They encounter a formidable challenge in the bay, with the Niners dominating from the second quarter onward.

Prediction: 49ers 31, Packers 17.

Buccaneers vs. Lions

Tampa’s win over Philadelphia may have looked impressive on the scoreboard, but considering the Eagles’ disarray, I’m cautious not to read too much into it. Detroit, a stronger team on both sides of the ball, secures another playoff victory.

Prediction: Lions 26, Buccaneers 20.

Chiefs vs. Bills

While the conditions won’t be as harsh as the previous week’s cold and snowy Bills’ wild card game against the Steelers, Patrick Mahomes faces his first playoff road game in a tough, raucous, and cold environment. Additionally, the Bills seem destined for a Super Bowl appearance.

Prediction: Bills 23, Chiefs 20.
